Casino Truck Show roars into to life

IT’S FULL speed ahead as Casino gears up to welcome the greatest truck show in the Southern Hemisphere, with excitement building as the 2026 North Coast Petroleum Casino Truck Show motors toward another landmark year. Now firmly established as an unmissable highlight on the calendar of truck enthusiasts across the nation, the Casino Truck Show will return to the Casino CBD, with Friday Night Lights on 31 July and the Main Show on Saturday 1 August.

The Casino Truck Show is a celebration of innovation, craftsmanship and community spirit, recognising the pride and dedication of the men and women who keep Australia moving.

Richmond Valley Council General Manager Vaughan Macdonald said anticipation was high as preparations gathered momentum for another standout year celebrating the transport industry.
“With fewer than 100 days to go, the countdown is well and truly on for one of Australia’s premier trucking events,” Mr Macdonald said.
“Each year, the Casino Truck Show continues to grow, attracting industry leaders, passionate owner-operators and thousands of visitors from across the country to the heart of Casino.”

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with an expanded Friday Night Lights set to shine brighter in 2026. The popular opening-night celebration will feature a spectacular illuminated truck display, live music and displays delivering a festival-style start to a weekend dedicated to the pride and passion of the transport industry.

Camping sites are available at the Casino Showground, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the full Truck Show experience across the weekend.

Mr Macdonald said the event was a boon for the Richmond Valley, bringing millions to the local economy. He encouraged people to take advantage of the show’s multiple days and explore what the area had to offer.
“The Richmond Valley is proud to host this nationally recognised event, and we’d encourage everyone to come and experience what makes this show truly special,” Mr Macdonald said.

Event co-founder Darren Goodwin said the level of interest from drivers, sponsors and enthusiasts still amazed him.
“We also extend our sincere appreciation to our sponsors and partners whose continued support ensures the ongoing success of this iconic event.” Mr Goodwin said.
